What is a BETA testing program?

A BETA testing program is the final phase in the development of a new product or feature where real users test it in real-world conditions. The goal is to identify any bugs, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement that may not have been caught during earlier testing phases. It's a crucial step before a full public release, ensuring that the product is polished, functional, and user-friendly.

We believe that the essence of a memorable game lies not in the roll of the dice, but in the alignment of play styles, gaming systems, and shared visions between players and game masters.

Who can join the BETA?

Anyone who is enthusiastic about our product and is willing to provide constructive feedback can join the BETA. Whether you're a long-time fan or a newcomer, your perspective is invaluable. However, please note that spots may be limited, and priority will often be given to those who have demonstrated a keen interest in our previous products or have experience in beta testing.

What is expected from the BETA team?

As a member of the BETA team, you'll be at the forefront of experiencing our latest innovations. We expect the following from our BETA testers:

• Active Participation: Regularly use the product or feature and explore its various facets.
• Constructive Feedback: Report any bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies you encounter. Offer suggestions for improvements.
• Confidentiality: Please refrain from sharing details about the BETA with those outside the program.
• Engage in Discussions: Join our forums or chat groups to discuss experiences and collaborate with other testers and our development team.

How to Join the BETA Team!

If you have made it to this page you already know someone who sent you to PlayerCharacter.Games or you are innovative enough to have wrangled your way in. That's great, we'd love for you to register and dive right in. We are monitoring registrations during the Beta so we will be in touch about your experience, but since you are here, you are more than welcome.

Oh, and did we mention there are NO SERVICE FEES during our Open Beta. The only cost is the Game Master fee—unless of course the game is free, in which case there are no fees anyway. And for those savvy GM's, this means you keep 100% of the game fees during the Beta. What are you waiting for?
